The philosophy of well-being based on imperfection.
In our opinion, a new look is needed for clothing. The dress changes paradigm. Today a new dimension of lifestyle is emerging from the crises we have experienced and are experiencing: energetic, climatic, war, health.
This allows us to make a U-turn compared to the past: no longer decisive answers, but a new need for well-being.
We need to dress vulnerabilities. Dignify imperfections. The latter are inevitable, as they are human. And we want to return to a human dimension. Perfect artisanal reproducibility does not exist and for this reason it is unique.
Sustainability is at the center.
Thus we try to answer the questions that are sometimes asked about the imperfections of our garments: is there a color stain, is it a defective garment? the line is not perfectly divided, why? after washing them they fade a little, why?
We understand the doubts, but these particularities arise from a choice: artisanal work, color gradations obtainable exclusively with hand printing, the choice of natural colors which inevitably fade slightly over time.
We think that there is an advantage in imperfection and that only in the uniqueness of this imperfection can we somehow take care of ourselves and, in doing so, also of others.
The importance of details
Pay attention, without details we are nothing . We can apply this statement to any subject: it is always the details that make the difference. For this reason, I care a lot about the effort I put into hand-crafting the print with the wooden stamps made specifically for each collection.
The result, always different, fascinates me, as well as satisfying me aesthetically. The printer must know the materials he works on well because each print is different: the pressure exerted, the resolution, the color give a dissimilar result depending on the fabric.
It is a delicate art, despite appearing simple.
